BJJ for Girls is a dynamic martial arts class designed for girls aged 7 to 14, introducing them to the principles and techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In a fun, empowering, and supportive environment, participants will learn grappling, self-defence skills, and groundwork, helping to build strength, confidence, and resilience. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu not only improves physical fitness and coordination but also teaches patience, discipline, and respect. It’s a great way for young girls to stay active, gain self-assurance, and develop lifelong skills on and off the mat.
BJJ uniforms (Gi) should be purchased from: www.tatamifightwear.com

IMPORTANT READ BELOW
To help sessions run smoothly and safely, please take a moment to read the following important guidelines:
1.Arrival: Children and parents must wait in the lobby until the Coach arrives. Children to line up in uniform, ready to be invited in.
Please DO NOT enter the training room (dojo room) without the coach being present.
2.Sign-In: Please sign in with your child’s full name before class starts.
3.Latecomers: If late, children must wait at the edge of the room and join the mat only when invited by the Coach.
4.Toilet Independence: Children must be fully toilet-trained and able to go independently. If not, they cannot attend.
5.No Parents Inside: Strictly no parents inside the dojo room at any time unless invited by the Coach. This is for safeguarding, health, and focus. You can watch your child behind the window glass doors. We will remove the screen from next session
6.Uniform and Hygiene: From now on, children will not be allowed to join the class if the following are not in place before class starts:
•No jewellery of any kind
•No pins, clips, zips, or buttons
•No personal toys (only a water bottle allowed)
•Trimmed fingernails and toenails
•Clean uniform/clothes
These expectations are in place to ensure safety, hygiene, and respect for all participants. Unfortunately, we cannot pause the class to deal with issues that should be addressed before arrival.
